I had mixed feelings about my stay at Brown Acropol. The location was incredibly convenient, right near the Omonia metro station, making it easy to explore Athens. However, the room I initially got was quite noisy and needed some updating, which affected my comfort. Despite a rocky start, the staff were attentive and worked hard to resolve my issues, which I appreciated. 🌆

During my stay at Brown Acropol, I found the hotel to have a great mix of positives and negatives. The friendly and helpful staff stood out, especially with their excellent English skills. I enjoyed the spacious room and the rooftop area with stunning views, but the noise from the street outside was a significant downside. Additionally, the neighborhood felt unsafe at night, which affected my overall comfort. 🌇

I recently had a wonderful stay at Brown Acropol in Athens. The location was fantastic, right on Omonia Square and just a short walk from major attractions. I was particularly impressed by the attentive staff and the cleanliness of the room. However, I experienced some noise issues from a nearby room, which affected my sleep a little. Overall, it was a great value for the money spent.

Although I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the Omonia Subway station and major attractions, my stay was marred by cleanliness issues and a less-than-welcoming atmosphere. The room I was offered was quite worn and had some maintenance problems, which detracted from my overall experience. However, the rooftop bar provided a nice escape with its views of the Acropolis.

The room was clean but showed signs of aging. the air conditioning functioned well, but I had issues with the bathroom design causing water to flood.

I had a mixed experience at the Brown Acropol. While I appreciated the effort of the staff in addressing our concerns, the location left much to be desired, with a noticeable presence of street issues outside the hotel. The overall vibe felt a bit dated for a supposed five-star hotel, though the breakfast had a decent variety. If you're relying on a central spot for exploring Athens, it might work for a night, but be mindful of the surrounding environment.

Rooms

The room we eventually got was clean, albeit small, and took some time to figure out how to activate the power. A balcony would have been a nice touch, but the view from it was overlooked by ongoing construction.
Service
8.0
I found the staff to be friendly and responsive, especially the front desk, who quickly resolved the issue with our original room. Their efforts certainly made an uncomfortable situation less bothersome.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated in Omonia Square, which unfortunately felt a bit unsafe. The presence of street vendors, beggars, and police made me uneasy when stepping outside, especially at night.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a good range of options, which I enjoyed, but I feel that it wasn't extraordinary. Some items felt a bit stale, and there are better cafes nearby if you're looking for something different.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel advertised various amenities, including a sauna, it was disappointing to find some of them unavailable. The rooftop features such as the jacuzzi were nice but seemed neglected.
