Reviews and Ratings
I had mixed feelings about my stay at Brown Acropol. The location was incredibly convenient, right near the Omonia metro station, making it easy to explore Athens. However, the room I initially got was quite noisy and needed some updating, which affected my comfort. Despite a rocky start, the staff were attentive and worked hard to resolve my issues, which I appreciated. 🌆
During my stay at Brown Acropol, I found the hotel to have a great mix of positives and negatives. The friendly and helpful staff stood out, especially with their excellent English skills. I enjoyed the spacious room and the rooftop area with stunning views, but the noise from the street outside was a significant downside. Additionally, the neighborhood felt unsafe at night, which affected my overall comfort. 🌇
I recently had a wonderful stay at Brown Acropol in Athens. The location was fantastic, right on Omonia Square and just a short walk from major attractions. I was particularly impressed by the attentive staff and the cleanliness of the room. However, I experienced some noise issues from a nearby room, which affected my sleep a little. Overall, it was a great value for the money spent.
Although I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the Omonia Subway station and major attractions, my stay was marred by cleanliness issues and a less-than-welcoming atmosphere. The room I was offered was quite worn and had some maintenance problems, which detracted from my overall experience. However, the rooftop bar provided a nice escape with its views of the Acropolis.
I had a mixed experience at the Brown Acropol. While I appreciated the effort of the staff in addressing our concerns, the location left much to be desired, with a noticeable presence of street issues outside the hotel. The overall vibe felt a bit dated for a supposed five-star hotel, though the breakfast had a decent variety. If you're relying on a central spot for exploring Athens, it might work for a night, but be mindful of the surrounding environment.
